I am a UK based artist, curator and educator. 

My art practice explores the conceptual frameworks we invent to give our lives a sense of order and what happens when these slip.

I use sculpture, site specific installations and performance to investigate the body.  I am concerned with the relationship between empathy and consumable commodity in both animals and humans.  And, I explore the ways in which we can simultaneously understand the body as both subject and object.

This is one of the sculptures on view @m2_gallery_london as part of the exhibition Feast. I experimented a lot with gloop and crater glazes to get the effects I wanted and had a lot of trouble with crimson stains burning out at stoneware temperatures

After many months experimenting with clays and glazes, I have made some progress towards what I was searching for. This is one of a series of sculptures called semifreddo that will be shown for the first time at the exhibition Feast @m2_gallery_londo
